Nuremberg Castle, or Nürnberger Burg in German, is a medieval fortification built sometime around the year 1000. The imperial castle was built for the kings and emperors of Germany and provides exceptional views of the city.

Nuremberg is one of my favourite cities in Germany. The medieval buildings and architecture of this Bavarian city are truly a sight to see. Although much of the city was destroyed during the Second World War, the buildings have been rebuilt in the authentic style that perfectly matches the delicious German beer and sausage dinner that one simply cannot miss.

Man Hanging Out, titled Zavešený muž in Czech, is a sculpture created by David Cerný. When I first saw it, I thought I was about to witness a suicide. The sculpture however, turned out to be a statue of Sigmund Freud.

The Dancing house, or Tancící dum in Czech, is an unusually shaped building designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunic in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry.
